Michael Balderrama - Associate Artistic Director
Michael Balderrama is currently serves as Artistic Supervisor and has performed the starring role of Usnavi in the Tony Award winning show In the Heights. He has been a featured or principle performer in such Broadway shows as Movin' Out, Saturday Night Fever and more, with glowing reviews for his dance/partner work. He is a Drama Desk and ACCA Award winner for his work on and off Broadway. Michael has choreographed for and/or performed with such great talents as Gloria Estefan, Brian Adams, Vanessa Williams, Kristine W, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson and many others. He has shared the stage opposite Elizabeth Parkinson, John Selya, Desmond Richardson, Karen Olivo, Lin-Manuel Miranda, & Brian Batt. He has taught, choreographed, and his work has been seen in 30 states, in 10 countries on 4 continents. He has worked with or assisted great choreographers like Twyla Tharp, Andy Blankenbuehlar, Travis Payne, Mia Michaels, Alan Johnson, and many others. He most recently received amazing reviews for his choreography in Chicago, Annie, Aida, and Rent at Starlight Theater this summer. He is one of the founders of a NYC non-profit organization committed to strengthening the Latino community and youth through the Arts called R.Evolucion Latina and has over 18 years experience as a professional performer, teacher and choreographer.
Jaime Verazin - Associate Choreographer
Jaime Verazin danced professionally with MOMIX from 2004-2007, performing both nationally and internationally. In commercials, she can be seen representing Hanes, REVLON and Carioca Coffee. Jaime has danced for three seasons with the Metropolitan Opera where she performed the non vocal lead role, Love, in the opera Armida, as well as in the ensembles of Aida, Don Giovanni, Les Contes d'Hoffmann, and Faust. She now freelances with choreographers such as Mark Stuart, Mark Dendy, Brice Mousset, Adam Battelstein, John Rua, and Katherine Helen Fisher and has performed for the pop icon, Madonna. She began training in New York at the age of 5, while continuing instruction with the Dayton Ballet in Ohio. Relocating to Northeastern PA, she studied for 10 years under the artistic direction of Trinette Singleton, former principal dancer with The Joffrey Ballet. She has performed the lead roles in the Wizard of Oz, Cinderella and Godspell, and is an accomplished pianist.
Grady Bowman - Assistant Artistic Director
Grady McLeod Bowman has been seen on Broadway in the original companies of Billy Elliot, South Pacific, Wonderland, and The Pirate Queen. He has also toured the world extensively dancing in Fosse and with the Pilobolus Dance Company. Grady’s film and television credits include Forrest Gump and The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles. As a choreographer, his work has been seen at the NY Fringe Festival, Northern Stage, Musical Theatre Performance Project, Cape Fear Regional Theatre, NC School of the Arts, SUNY Fredonia College, and the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. Grady is a BFA graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts.
Michelle "Mochi" Camaya - Associate Choreographer
Michelle "Mochi" Camaya graduated from the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts and attained a B.A. in dance from the University of California, Irvine. Her professional career has enabled her to tour with musicals such as Fame (1st National), Swing! (1st National & Japan), and The Lion King (1st National, Broadway and Las Vegas). She can be seen dancing in the Disney movie 'Enchanted' as well as Rob Marshall's "Memoirs of Geisha". She was the runner up on Bravo's "Step It Up & Dance". She is also a certified Bikram and Moksha yoga instructor. Michelle is honored to be a member of Mark Stuart Dance Theatre, an avante garde company which pushes her to her full potential as an artist.
Ioana Alfonso, soon to be seen as a new cast member of the NBC show "Smash", has worked extensively in the performing arts both on stage and in film/television. She started dancing at the age of four and by the age of 15 was working professionally as assistant to Mia Michaels (SYTYCD) while attending New World School of the Arts, a performing arts high school. She has assisted Mia on numerous projects including pre-production for quot;Madonna: Drowned World Tour", "Celine Dion's 'New Day'", and with setting works on concert dance companies, teaching, etc. She attended New York University's conservatory program, Tisch School of the Arts, where she received her BFA in 3 years including a summer abroad in Salzburg, Austria (SEAD). She also attended Jacob?s Pillow on full scholarship twice, where she performed works by Alvin Ailey, Martha Graham, and Merce Cunningham. Her dance training ranges from ballet to hip-hop, and it is this versatility that has allowed her to work in all genres. As a perfomer Ioana has not only worked professionally as a dancer, but also has been able to transition into acting, voice overs (English and Spanish), teaching, and directing/choreographing. Equally important to her, she works with charitable organizations such as Artists Striving to End Poverty, Revolucion Latina, The African Children Choir and NYCares in order to use the arts to empower individuals. Troy Edward Bowles
Troy Edward Bowles grew up milking cows in Idaho. Performed with Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet, NYC Opera, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, and NYMF. Played the role of James in the first national tour of Movin' Out. Original casts of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and The Pirate Queen on Broadway. Dance captain for the first national tour of Mary Poppins. He was a featured dancer and stunt man in the motion capture animation version of A Christmas Carol starring Jim Carey (2009 release).
Colin Bradbury is a New Hampshire native was recently seen in Come Fly Away on Broadway. He has taught and choreographed throughout the New England area and across the country. Favorite credits include: A Chorus Line (US Tour, Dance Capt/Swing), White Christmas (Boston, LA, St Paul), 42nd Street (Japan/US Tour), Encore! (Tokyo Disney Sea), 7 Brides for 7 Brothers (Caleb) and CATS (Plato/Macavity) at the Pittsburgh CLO, and La Cage Aux Folles at the Gateway Playhouse among many others.
Todd Burnsed is an Atlanta area native and graduate of The Juilliard School where he received a BFA. Since graduation he has toured to over 25 countries with Moses Pendleton's MOMIX, The Next Stage Project, and Twyla Tharp's Movin' Out. Other theater credits include: Come Fly Away(Broadway), Dirty Dancing(Toronto), Radio CIty Christmas Spectacular(NYC), and The Metropolitan Opera. As a freelance artist he has also had the opportunity to work with and perform the works of Paul Taylor, Hans Van Manen, Katherine Helen Fisher, Daniel Ezralow, Igal Perry, and Doug Varone. Kelly Connolly is honored to be sharing the stage with Mark Stuart Dance Theatre. Kelly can be seen on Billboards and in several magazines for the 2009 campaigned of SYTYCD. Her recent credits include eposides on Weeds, Glee, How I Meet Your Mother, Weeds, The Jump Arounds, CSI NY, Cold Case, and The Shield. Kelly was seen dancing in the Harold Ramis movie, Year One, and in Robert Zemeckis version of A Christmas Carol. Kelly also choreographed a 7 fly rig show for famous artist, Adonis Remos, in Greece called Day & Night! She is currently working with Tommy Davison on upcoming projects, recently shot a Crystler commercial, and can be seen ballroom Dancing in One Republic's new video. Other credits include Dancing with the Stars, Britney's Double for New video'Three, TV Land Awards, and she was Back-up singer for Patti Lebelle at the World Music Awards. Kelly has an extensive background in Musical Theater. Her credits include Chorus Line, Sound of Music, Camelot, Beauty and the Beast, Mame, Mass, and Joseph and the Amazing….at the Kodak Theatre.
Simone De La Rue
Simone De La Rue hails from Australia, via a four year stop-over in London, and now calls New York City home. Film credits include The Phantom of the Opera directed by Joel Schumacher, and Beyond the Sea directed by and starring Kevin Spacey. West End credits include Candide at the English National Opera, Ducktastic directed by Kenneth branagh in which she was also assistant choreographer and "Gemina" in A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum at the prestigious National Theatre, London. In Australia she appeared as "Iris" in Fame, as "Patty" in Grease, in Happy Days, and as "Victoria" in Cats in Australia, Asia and Germany. Simone has appeared in numerous television shows, commercials and music videos in Australia and the UK, including a Royal Variety PERFORMANCE for Prince Charles. Rosie Lani Fiedelman
Rosie Lani Fiedelman (Dancer), from Breckenridge, Colorado graduated as part of the first class from the Alvin Ailey/Fordham University BFA program. Ms. Fiedelman has performed with Interweave Dance Theater, Lincoln Center Out of Doors, Calvin Wiley Dance Theater, Subtle Changes, Deeply Rooted Dance Theater and Camille A. Brown. She has worked with Kevin Iega Jeff, Ronald K. Brown, Darrell Moultrie, John Paollilo, Iqual Shaheed and David Moore and appeared on Live with Regis and Kelly. She is currently in the four time Tony Award winning and 2008 Grammy winning musical, In The Heights, where she made her Broadway debut. Also earning the 2006-07 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Ensemble Performance off Broadway and the 2007-08 Outstanding Broadway Chorus Award from The Actors' Equity Association. She has danced with Jennifer Muller/ The Works since 2003. Ms. Fiedelman has traveled with the company to Thailand, Bolivia, China; where she taught a master class to the Beijing Dance/LDTX modern dance company and was an assistant rehearsal director, and most recently Brazil where she also taught master classes for the Fendafor International Dance Festival.
Jessica Hope - Artistic Supervisor
Jessica Hope is a graduate of the La Guardia Performing Arts H.S in NY and New York University with a BFA in Dance. Credits include: Broadway: Hot Feet, Off Broadway: Fame on 42nd Street, North American and European Tours: Fame-The Musical, Saturday Night Fever. Keith Kuhl. Born and raised in Albuquerque, N.M., began his professional career dancing for Gus Giodano Jazz Dance Chicago; Internationally acclaimed dance company. He then trained on scholarship at The Edge Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, CA where he lived for the next 9 years before moving to NYC. Natalie Lomonte is a native Texan who began dancing in the womb and can currently be seen in Spiderman on Broadway. She studied dance in the BFA program at Marymount Manhattan College, during which time she traveled to Scotland to perform at the Edinburough Arts Festival. Her professional endeavors include touring nationally and internationally with MOMIX dance theater as a soloist and contributing choreographer, PILOBOLUS Dance Theater, The Chase Brock Experience, and most recently, Parsons Dance. She has performed in a number of Industrial events around the world, has been seen in a national HANES Comfort Soft commercial and advertising campaign and the Bollywood film, K.A.N.K.. Currently Natalie is cast in the up-coming production of Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark, on Broadway.
Adealani Malia has been a member of Colorado Ballet, State Street Ballet, New York Theatre Ballet, San Pedro Ballet, and Hawaii State Ballet. She has also danced professionally with various contemporary jazz, ballroom and modern companies. Adealani first performed Swing! with the national/Japanese tour and has since performed it at other regional theaters including Gateway Playhouse, Maine State Music Theatre, Ogunquit Playhouse, Theatre Under the Stars, and Sacramento Music Circus. She has directed/choreographed Swing! in her hometown in Hawaii. Adealani has also toured recently with the rock band "Panic! at the Disco" as a specialty artist.

Adesola Osakalumi is a highly regarded leader in the world of hip hop dance. He co-founded GhettOriginals Productions Dance Company - of Jam On The Groove fame (the first hip hop theater production). It premiered Off-Broadway to rave reviews. Adesola has also choreographed and/or been featured on the MTV Video Awards (with Mariah Carey, Jamie Foxx, and others); PBS Kids; Old Navy, Halifax Bank and Levis commercials; and in the films School of Rock, Marci X, Enchanted, and Idlewild, to name a few. In 2008, Adesola will make his acting debut in The Accidental Husband with Uma Thurman. Adesola also designs dance productions for high-end corporate clients. Also a choreographer, she most recently opened a production of All Shook Up to rave reviews and has directed several productions of Swing! (2004 and 2006 Ovation awards - Best Choreography). Other choreography credits: Rte 66 (Crystal Cruises),Cats, Buddy (The Buddy Holly Story),Too Old For the Chorus, Oliver! & Jesus Christ Superstar starring the late Carl Anderson (NAACP Theatre Award Nomination-Best Choreography), Dana also teaches at the University of California Irvine & enjoys being tossed around by the brilliant Mark Stuart on occasion!

As a teacher, he has over 10 years of experience and currently on staff at Broadway Dance Center, NYC. Rickey has performed with the likes such as Lin-Manuel Miranda, Corbin Bleu and Jordin Sparks. .
Mindy Wallace has performed in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular and with the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. Regional theatre credits include Hello Dolly and Carnival at Paper Mill Playhouse, and Cats (Victoria) and Evita (Tango Dancer) at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina.
